As part of your continuing professional development as a HENRY Group Facilitator or Advanced Practitioner, it is essential that you attend annual refresher training. If you are running a HENRY Parent Group or One to One Programme this term, you will also need to attend a supervision session.

Eat Better Start Better As part of the Eat Better Start Better Project, the School Food Trust have published: ‘A practical guide to introducing the new national voluntary food and drink guidelines for early years settings.’ This guide has been developed to help early years’ providers and practitioners meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) welfare requirement for the provision of healthy, balanced and nutritious food and drink. This guide is for early years’ providers and practitioners providing meals, snacks or drinks to children aged one to five years. All regulated providers are encouraged to use this guide,including children’s centres, regardless of the amount of time children spend in the setting. The Practical Guide can be downloaded here
