Parenting Puzzle Workshops for parents with children under 4

This 1-day training course is for practitioners who have already trained as Parent Group Leaders and wish to offer a shorter intervention based on the Nurturing Programme. The course equips you to deliver four 2-hour workshops aimed at parents of children under 4 years old.

Welcome to the World antenatal groups

This two-day training course will provide practitioners with the skills, knowledge and resources needed to deliver the 8-week ‘Welcome to the World’ programme for parents expecting a baby. The course covers key aspects of emotional health and wellbeing providing a positive framework for parenting, and will also emphasise the importance of supportive, positive facilitation from the practitioner. Parents attend the group from approximately 22 weeks of pregnancy; topics include empathy and loving attentiveness, infant brain development, healthy choices, managing stress and promoting self-esteem and confidence, and effective communication.
